Our Founder & CEO

Jen Marr

Jen Marr is a speaker, 3x Author, and Founder and CEO of Showing Up LLC. Her groundbreaking, innovative work in supportive care, leadership development, and culture building brings a critical paradigm shift to a field currently dominated by self-care solutions and emotion-based training.

Jen draws on her 30 years of expertise in business, leadership development, and the healthcare industry to research and develop programs that operationalize the relational needs of empathy and support. She addresses the current Empathy to Action Gap through what she calls The Awkward Zone™.

Her work in the field of human connection, supportive care and transformative leadership, has made an indelible impact on countless lives. She has certified over 150 trainers in her programming and has presented to tens of thousands globally.

Jen’s movement is taking root in notable organizations including CVS Health, HCA Healthcare, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, KPMG, US Office of Personnel Management (OPM), USAID, Countless School Districts, Georgetown University and The White House Leadership Development Program. She is the author of the critically acclaimed Showing Up and the forthcoming leadership book Lifting Up (coming May 2025).
