Signature Workshops

Everything we do is data-driven. As the first step in our process, we use our proprietary survey and validated care and connection metrics to uncover the potential for more connection in your organization.
This baseline, discussion-based workshop reviews these metrics with your team, where small-group discussions will dive deep into the trends and scenarios where employees may not feel seen, acknowledged, and validated — and build awareness for the case for caring leadership in this new era of work.
From there, we’ll use the insights gathered from both the survey, workshop, and over-arching goals of the team/organization to generate a targeted action plan for your team.

A deep-dive into the book Showing Up and the skills of supportive care, perfect for skilling up your teams.
This session, focused on awareness and culture-building, is a deep dive into the book Showing Up and the process and applications of human care and support behaviors in the workplace. Working in collaboration with one another, participants will uncover the behaviors that get us off track and the science of how human care works.
This eye-opening session gets teams excited and brimming with ideas for culture transformation, as well as inspiring and encouraging them to discuss and open up with stories of their own.
Participants will break into groups to discuss guided questions related to Showing Up, opening their eyes to the key building blocks for flourishing cultures of supportive care, and empowering and motivating them with the growth, support skills, and caring actions critical to drive connection-centered culture change. -
This fundamental training module helps each participant understand what barrier behaviors they have in their personal “Awkward Zone™” — that place of knowing a co-worker or employee is struggling, but not knowing what to say or do.
Some are eager to help support others but don’t know how to start; others don’t think it’s their business to get involved; others want to figure out how to prioritize supportive care, accountability, and productivity at the same time. Participants walk away from this workshop understanding what stops them from showing up and connecting more deeply, and with the skills to support those in and around them at work. -
The Lifting Up Leadership Series is a transformative training experience rooted in the frameworks from Lifting Up: The Transformative Power of Supportive Leadership.
Through this series, leaders gain practical relational skills and learn how to build a culture where support isn’t just spoken—it’s felt.

This hands-on workshop will work through processes, strategies, checklists, and audits to level up skills in being a confident “Future Proof” leader.
Through this in-depth leadership workshop, participants can expect to acquire the awareness, skills, and strategy to support employees. Certifications

Our Showing Up Certified Trainer program is designed for community, organizational, and thought leaders looking to step up, show up, and make an impact.
With our in-depth training, individuals can become a leader of care and connection by bringing programming to organizations, communities, and workplaces.
The eight-week training walks participants through their personal care behaviors, their strengths and weaknesses, and a thorough skills application process. All certifications go through a step-by-step customized training to optimize the strengths of each facilitator. -
Certified Organizational Trainers are on-staff leaders who are trained as experts in supportive care and connection and are certified to facilitate Showing Up trainings, programs, presentations, and workshops.
The essential step to make sure that a supportive culture is made sustainable and cultivated in the long-term within your organization.

Perfect for places where peers or mentors are looked to for support. We offer a Peer-Leader Certification for groups such as ERGs, Resident Assistants, Orientation Leaders, Team Captains, or any group where peer leaders can benefit from being trained in caring behaviors.

Deeper orientation into the skills of supportive care with deep dive scenario-based leadership training

Our research-backed youth program is proven to decrease depression and loneliness symptoms while increasing feelings of belonging, as well as compassion for self and others.
Project Comfort is an 8-lesson character development program. Each lesson includes an accompanying application activity of creating and delivering a signature comfort plaque. The more time spent discussing and collaborating during these lessons and applications, the more the skill takes root and cultivates new behaviors.
This program is the ultimate “learn-by-doing” program that awakens the empathy that lies within us. Project Comfort’s programming is perfect in the classroom, for after school clubs, summer camps, or groups that are in need of group bonding and deeper relationships. We certify your staff to facilitate the program. -
Showing Up LLC’s work originated in crisis response after realizing the typical 72-hour front-loaded crisis response was insufficient. Whether you’re an organization, school, community, team, or group dealing with a traumatic event or larger ongoing organizational trauma, our solutions work to heal communities in both the short and long-term.
