The cohorts include Certified Organizational Trainers from Putnam County CAC in NY and Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Wisconsin, as well as their 16th and 17th cohorts of Certified Trainers.

May 19, 2023 (OCONOMOWOC, WI) — Inspiring Comfort announces that it will be hosting “Showing Up With Hope”, a free community mental health event and a heartfelt night of storytelling and hope at the Oconomowoc Arts Center.

As of April 2023, Inspiring Comfort has certified 6 new Certified Trainers as leaders of care, connection, and comfort. These trainers are now certified to speak and facilitate supportive care programming across sectors and organizations. Inspiring Comfort congratulates its 8th and 9th cohorts of Certified Trainers, and is thrilled to continue working with them to cultivate cultures of supportive care in their organizations and communities.

March 13, 2023 — Inspiring Comfort announces that it has been selected once again by the NY Office of Mental Health for funding and approval of a third study for their Project Comfort programming for youth — a Compassionate and Pro-Social Behavior intervention against the effects of loneliness and depression.

AUGUST 25, 2022 - On Monday, August 15th, Inspiring Comfort trained 82 peer leaders and 12 faculty/staff at Concordia University-Wisconsin in the critical skills of long-term supportive care and showing up.
